Grooming Services
Bath & Dry
This groom includes a wash in our hydrobath, using natural shampoo especially selected for your dog's skin and coat type, followed by a fluff-dry. This groom includes a good brush through to get rid of any dead hair or knots and a nail trim. Finished with a natural fragrance.
Maintenance Groom
This groom is designed for maintaining your dogs coat between full grooms. The groom includes a wash in our hydrobath, using natural shampoo especially selected for your dogs skin and coat type. Followed by a fluff-dry along with a nail trim, ear clean, hygiene trim and a tidy up around the face and feet. Finished with a natural fragrance.
Full Groom
This groom is tailored to your dogs specific needs. It includes a wash in our hydrobath, using natural shampoo especially selected for your dog's skin and coat type. Followed by a fluff-dry, along with a nail trim, ear clean, hygiene trim and full body styling to your requirements. Finished with a natural fragrance.
Hand Stripping
This groom is designed for wire-haired breeds. This grooming technique removes the dead outer coat from your dog by hand, rather than using clippers. A new wire coat grows through, maintaining your dogs coat texture and colour. This groom includes a wash in our hydrobath using natural shampoo especially selected for your dogs skin and coat type. Followed by a fluff-dry, along with a nail trim and ear clean.
Puppy Pampers
This groom is designed for puppies up to six months of age and includes a wash in our hydrobath, using natural shampoo especially tailored for puppies, followed by a fluff-dry. This groom also includes a nail trim, pad clean, foot trim, hygiene trim and a face tidy. This groom is designed to be shorter than a full groom, making it the perfect way to introduce your puppy to the grooming process.
**Please note we recommend puppies start their professional grooming experience from 12 weeks of age (after their second vaccination), followed by appointments every 3-4 weeks up until the age of 6 months where they can start their adult grooms. This experience is essential and allows your puppy to built their confidence and go on to enjoy the grooming experience.
Prices
At Gus & Bear we understand that every dog is unique. Coat types can also differ dramatically from the short fine ones to those that are thick and curly. We accommodate all shapes and sizes and price every grooming session on an individual basis.

Hydrobath
We use a type of bath called a Hydrobath for all our grooms. A hydrobath uses a spray head, which produces a hydro-combing action that massages and stimulates the skin. This therapeutic water massage helps with blood circulation, relieves tired muscles, helps remove dead skin cells and has been shown to be beneficial for dogs with arthritis.
