Turn left along the drive and through the double gates on the left. Cross diagonally a small field to a stile in the centre of the hedge. Keeping the hedge on your right continue to the field corner. Carry straight across the field in the same direction to Cocksmoss Lane. Go over the stile and turn left along the Cocksmoss lane. Arriving at a T-junction with a cattle gride, turn left skirting Black Wood. Turn left just before the drive to Higher Mutlow Farm. Follow the footpath sign through a gate, by the side of a tall hawthorn hedge to another gate. Round the end of the farm turn left after passing passing through a third gate. Walk by a fence then a hedge until reaching a gate with a stile. Turn left and carry on until a bridge crossing Chapel Brook. Continue uphill to Great Tidnock Farm and following the signs turn left through the farmyard. Follow this track, through Martonheath Wood and past Pikelow trout pools and fruit farm until you join Marton Lane. Turn left down the lane towards Marton village. The Church Spire will soon be visible. At Marton school, turn left into Oak Lane. Follow the lane to it's junction with the A34 and turn left towards the Gus & Bear car park.

Over a stile with a pond on your right, bear left at Sandpit Farm buildings and go down the drive to Messuage Lane. Turn right down the lane to Keepers Cottage at the junction with Hodgehill Lane.

Turn right again with Marton village pond on your left. Walk up the lane, passing Fern Farm as far as the entrance to Daisybank Farm. Take the path opposite through a metal gate. Bear right at a copse and over a stile. Follow the path almost diagonally to the corner of the field cross the stile and keeping fence and a hedge on your right, pass a pond on your left before reaching Davenport Lane.
